Ebonised Italian stick Barometer
An unusual Italian made stick barometer by Ciresa of Milan. Ebonised flat wooden case, with gilt mounts and a gilt sliding ‘cherub’ pointer. The original paper scales (behind glass) feature the various predicted weather patterns in both French and German.
