An ebonised chair which we attribute to the Rowley Gallery.
The chair is elegant and interesting. The backrest has a large marquetry medalion inset. The medalion depicts a bush and two magpies pecking at a worm.
The chair has been cleaned and polished, the seat has been prefinished in white calico.
There is some wear to the ebonised finish on the points of the armrests but only what is in keeping with age and use.
