Delightful early 20th.c. oak fitted kitchen cabinet by the London company Easiwork c.1930. Simple modernist aesthetic, Easiwork cabinets were designed to improve the the hygiene and efficiency of the kitchen. With five door cupboard top over a sliding enamelled work surface and base with three drawers and single door cupboard. Retaining the original fitted interior with storage racks, utensil drawers and large flour store with a sifter funnel. Inside the upper doors are the original paper liners printed with simple recipes, cooking times, suggested shopping lists, nutritional information and care instructions for the cabinet itself. Below the worktop is a wooden chopping board, the top drawer is fitted for cutlery whist the cupboard base and larger drawers are lined with metal. Flat top with raised sides and rear makes an extra storage shelf. Excellent condition with original self-closing door catches and maker’s label. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
