This is one of the classic Arts & Crafts chairs designed by E. A. Taylor (1874-1951) for Wylie Lochhead of Glasgow. It is in the Glasgow style with swept front feet and the twin flat cross supports to the front stretchers. The back has an elongated form with his broken heart motif repeated to the top of the back rail. A great piece by a great Scottish designer. This is the high back example. It is not rushed at the moment but this is easily achieved by ourselves or yourself based upon negotiation.
