A pair of Aesthetic Movement chairs the design attributed to E. W. Godwin and probably made by William Watt c1880. A similar chair is shown in "The Secular Furniture of E.W. Godwin" by Susan Weber Soros on page 128 plate 173. Image attached.
They measure 67 x 74 x 90 and 59 x 67 x 83 and are in need of restoration.
