This is such a wonderful compact mirror made by Dorothy Gray in the 1940s in superb condition.As you would expect from Dorothy Gray it is superbly made. A high quality compact with the most delightful design of a raised "Savoir Faire" mask with incised ribbons on a rhinestone studded brushed gold tone background. The compact has been well looked after & it is in good condition. All the rhinestones are in place & also the original puff. It is made from good quality brass. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The gorgeous lid opens to reveal a good mirror. The base has an engine turned design of coarse spirals & a central cartouche that is signed "Dorothy Gray DOROTHY GRAY LTD., DISTR., NEW YORK".
This vintage compact mirror measures 3 1/4" X 3".
