A Victorian period, mahogany, doll’s half tester bed. The mahogany woodwork is in good original condition with the bed end being cross banded. This very attractive child’s toy has an old horse hair mattress which may well be original. The drapes have been recently replaced. Sizes 15”(38cms) wide, 23”(59cms) long, 22 ½ “(57cms) high. Date circa 1860. I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
