Diamond Stick Pin

This magnificent stick pin contains seven mine cut diamonds in a six point star. The centre diamond is larger than the six in the star's points.The diamonds are set in yellow metal on a blue enamelled star on a yellow metal background. I would estimate that this pin would date from circa 1880.

It is not hallmarked but tests as 15ct gold.

The diameter of the circular top is 15.8mm and the weight of the pin is 4.6 grams.

The original box is in very good condition and carries the embossed jeweller's motif of J & L Mole, Wolverhampton.
