A charming Edwardian period demi lune, or half moon, satinwood card table. Of fine construction in satinwood and with attractive satinwood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. The half moon top is decorated with tulip wood banding, a walnut veneer border inset with foliate inlaid detailing and radiating fan segments in satinwood. The rest of the table is further embellished with tulip wood cross banding and inlaid stringing throughout. The top folds over to reveal a baise lined interior and rests in place supported by a swing-out back leg, Offered for sale in excellent original condition, with a good colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
