Here we have a very rare bar top Victorian Dunvilles VR whisky decanter c1880. This is one of the most ornate decanters we have seen. The top has a faceted finial with scalloped facets to the sides. On the main body there is a geometric band to the rear and beautiful star cuts to the sides. There front and etched and once gilded letters and even the glass makers or retailers name etched to the body base. The spout is in lovely condition and could be used with a tap. The foot also has fine cut decoration with a minor chip to the inside rear rim. A super rare decanter with crystal clear glass in great condition. The dimensions are approx 23 inches high 10 deep and 10 wide.
