Here we have a wonderful rare Charles II Oak spice cupboard c1680. As you can see the cupboard has oustanding colour and patina. The door has typical and high quality geometric moulding with beautiful colour and grain. The door retains the original bat wing hinges secured with hand made nails. Internally there is an arrangement of 8 drawers. The base drawer has a secret compartment at the rear. As you would expect the whole is constructed using pegged mortice and tenon joints. A super period example in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 35 cm high 35 cm wide 20 cm deep.
