A splendid pair of Bergere armchairs in the spirit of the English country house C1920 with a lovely shape and those eagle heads to the tips of the shapely arms and ball and claw feet finishing off the whole affair! We love these and they are in great order. The cane work is in marvellous order with no breaks and the high quality, rich pink patterned, woven fabric spotless and matching the lightly aged frames rather well.

As mentioned, these sit in fine order and are comfortable with good support to the seats, no repairs or movement in the arms or frames – very much ready to place – you could of course reupholster but no need to, unless you wish. Expect sensible day to day marks to the frames.

A jolly smart pair of armchairs – we have a matching 2 seater sofa if you care for the set.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
