Circa 1900. A stylish mahogany Scottish Cockpen or Dalhousie armchair. The curved top rail with elegant pierced and carved back, curved saddle shaped seat and shaped arms supported on uprights. The back legs are circular and slightly out swept and the front legs are square with beading and chamfering, united by circular conforming stretchers.
