A stunning vintage champagne bucket in silver plate, a hefty quality piece by the famous French Orfevrerie Christofle of Paris.

This design is called Ormesson with it's simple lines and footed base and two fabulous shell handles a lovely post Art Deco design dating to c.1950.

Part of Christofle's Gallia Collection, the underside is marked "Gallia" and the famous cockerel mark.

Just back from our silversmith's workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished leaving it in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age.

9 1/2" handle to handle x 7 1/2" x 9" tall.
