This most unusual and very fine Chinese hand carved figure group depicts a most uncommon scene of three pigeons gathered together to feed. It is superbly composed and exceptionally well carved in mellow green soapstone with russet inclusions and is in perfect unrestored condition. It is signed with Chinese character marks on its underside.
