Childs chair, Victorian, leather upholstered c1840
A superb early Victorian carved and turned rosewood leather upholstered child’s chair.
This very fine example of miniature cabinet making is in the form of a half sized child’s chair. It is constructed in rosewood which has been very delicately hand turned and carved especially to the decorative open twisted columns and the fretted scrolled crest rail which frame the central leather upholstered back which also matches the seat in buttoned tan hide.

Height 76cm x width 38cm x depth 43cm
