Overall good condition. Some cracking above the cows back. All can be seen in the images.


Information about Charles Jones


Charles 'Sheep' Jones was a London painter of sheep, cattle and deer in landscape settings. He was of Welsh extraction, born near Cardiff. Charles Jones was well known as an animal painter and affectionately known as ‘Sheep’ Jones due to his skilful and realistic portrayal of sheep.Jones exhibited between 1860 and 1891 at the Royal Academy and from 1861 until 1883 at the British Institution, Suffolk Street, New Watercolour Society as well as various other venues.
