For sale we have a very attractive Charles Horner silver spider brooch.

This very striking silver bar brooch has a very striking spider at its center consisting of a large Bohemian glass amethyst body set into a silver spider mount extending to eight legs and a head into which a second smaller Bohemian glass amethyst has been set. The bar of the brooch caries full English hallmarks for Chester 1921 and the silver mount of the body is marked with the English sterling silver mark.

The brooch is 2 inches (5cm) long, with the larger stone being 1cm long. The brooch is in a good condition although the larger stone does carry one or two small surface marks.
