We have the pleasure of offering for sale a lovely silver and amethyst Charles Horner hatpin

This silver ended hatpin extending to a 6 inch (15cm) long steel pin. The hatpin is of a symmetrical scrolling form with a central thistle terminating in an amethyst. The silver design carries full English hallmarks for Chester 1913 on both sides, along with the makers mars for Charles Horner.

The hatpin has a total length of 7 inches (18.8cm) and is in a very good antique condition, although one set of hallmarks on one side of the hatpin are rubbed but legible. The other set of hallmarks is very clear.
