A truely exquisite silver & enamel celtic style brooch by Charles Horner, with perfect enamels in vibrant iridescent blue & green which are typical of the art nouveau period,there were several designers using this medium of design and decoration during this era. Amongst those included wereJessie m King & Archibald Knox. The brooch measures 2.2cm Across and 1.7cm High. It is fully marked to the back with the full assay office marks for Chester date letter L for 1911 plus CH for Charles Horner, it has a typical c clasp & pin in good order.
