Here we have a wonderful rare pair of Philip Clissett Ash ladderback armchairs c1895. As you can see the chairs have fantastic colour and patina. The chairs by repute were given by Edward Burne-Jones to the previous owners the Doubleday family in 1904 and have remained with them until now.
