Here we have a wonderful Victorian Lathe back Windsor Grandfather chair in Beech and Elm c1870. As you can see the chair has fantastic colour and patina. There is a broad top rail with lathes to the back which bend at the base for lumbar support. There are shaped side supports with lovely turnings to the top. The arms are also well shaped with turned supports. There is a wonderful thick saddle shaped Elm seat with great colour and grain. The legs are well turned and joined by an H stretcher. A super very comfortable chair in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 107 cm high 59 cm wide 50 cm deep.
