Here we have an early Victorian Ash and Elm Windsor armchair Lincolnshire c1840. As you can see the chair has exceptional colour and patina. The chair typical of the design of the Lincolnshire area and a low hoop back with decorative central splat and hooped Ash arms. There is a lower central splat and spindle supports. There is a solid Elm seat with super grain going from left to right.The legs are well turned and regain full height and are joined by a double H stretcher. A super example in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 37 inches high 21 wide and 17 deep.
