Here we have the best of Victorian desk or library chairs c1840. As you can see the chair has super colour and patina. This solid Elm chair of generous proportions is the most comfortable chair you will ever sit in. There is a broad top rail with a well padded buttoned back finished in fine quality Chestnut hide. The saddle seat is a single piece of thick grainy Elm and below there are beautifully turned legs joined by a crinoline stretcher. The legs also retain the original ceramic casters. This chair can be used everyday and is solid throughout. A stunning period chair in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 38 inches high 24 wide and 24 deep.
