Here we have a very rare and wonderful primitive Welsh stick back chair c1800. As you can see the chair has delicious colour and patina. There is a broad top rail with simple incised decoration. There is a stick back leading to a fantastic seat cut from a single piece of solid Ash. The seat has super grain, colour and is thick with a chamfered under edge and simple incised decoration to the front. There are three original simple turned Ash legs. A super chair and a rare find perfect for any collection and very useable.. The dimensions are approx 74 cm high 50 cm wide 34 cm deep.
