Here we have a breathtaking Arts and Crafts Mahogany and inlaid armchair c1900. As you can see the chair frame has excellent colour and patina. This Voysey influenced chair is finsihed in Libertys Ianthe fabric. There is a shaped top with oversized moulded tops and a padded head rest again shaped at the base. This leads to a central splat of beautiful quality inlaid wood in the art nouveau taste. Again the arms are well shaped and have cushioned pads. The sides are peirced with tulip shapes. The legs extend from the base beyond the top of the arms and are capped with Voysey style tops. These caps are also replicated on the feet. A truly wonderful chair in excellent retail condition and maybe a one off. The dimensions are approx 46 inches high 24 wide.
