Here we have a fine quality Oak desk or library chair by T. Wilson of Great Queen Street London c1860. As you can see the chair has fantastic colour and patina. The chair is of the highest quality having been made by the famous firm of T. Wilson who were regarded as the finest of Londons desk makers. The leg is fully stamped to the right rear. There is a broad top rail and a deep buttoned Chestnut leather back. The arms are well shaped as are the supports which lead down to a thick and beautiful saddle shaped seat. The legs are also beautifully turned and joined by a crinoline stretcher. The legs retain the original fine quality brass cup casters with reeded decoration to the cups. A very fine, grand and generous desk chair in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 100 cm high 61 cm wide 64 cm deep.
