Cast Iron Garden Lawn Sign Keep Off the Grass
A superb late 19th Century lawn or green-keepers sign reading "PLEASE KEEP OFF THE GRASS"
Fashioned from heavy cast iron and with a wonderful, architectural cloverleaf design, this sign weighs in at almost 10kgs and is not to be confused with later, inferior copies!
It measures approx 46.5 cms wide x 54 cms high (overall, including the planting spike).
These early cast garden signs are now becoming harder and harder to find.
There is around 2 - 3 inches of loss to the tip of the planting spike, however this does not affect the signs stability when planted, being very stable and secure.
A lovely, classic addition to any fine garden or green.
The price includes UK packing and postage via courier.
