An unusual and highly decorative biscuit box made from solid English Oak and silver plated fittings.

The shaped barrel was beautifully carved with deep floral and foliate detail. The front has the original presentation plaque dated 1907, Edwardian in era and lovely to have some provenance.

The lid lifts to reveal the original creamware ceramic liner.

Excellent condition measuring 6 1/2" in diameter x 10" tall to top of handle while upright.
