This lovely antique wall mirror is of superb quality. We believe it to be of Venetian Murano origins and to date from the late nineteent century. The bevel-edged mirror retains its original mirrored frame with cut glass edges and lovely reverse-painted decoration. It has an outer wooden gilt-painted frame. The inner frame has decorative glass roundels covering the screw holes (one is missing).

Condition - Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some minor surface scratching in places, and some wear to the reverse painting. The gilt-painted frame has some scuffing and minor loss. As is mentioned above one of the decorative roundels is missing, and there is some slight chipping around the area it would have been.
