A stylish antique 19th Century French walnut fold-over card table or hall table with carved cabriole legs. Beautifully figured walnut veneers the back legs slide out to support a top which opens out as a card table. It features floral carving to the legs and the front of the shaped apron. Would make a great hall table. Or could have a new baize added to be used as a card table. Dating from circa 1880.
Construction/Wood:
Walnut veneers
Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy. A small old repair to the veneered top, small section of trim missing to side. An old split to top of back leg (solid). Green top in need of replacing. Top warped and lifting up slightly at front.
