Super quality French 19th century paint and gilt "trumeau" mirror with its original deep bevelled mercury mirror glass.
Very well proportioned mirror and the old pale French grey and gilt combination makes this a great decorative antique mirror.
The paint and gilding is in good condition with just some very light signs of age and the original bevelled mercury mirror plate is near perfect.
Great mirror and a fantastic size for an overmantle mirror, but would also free hang or perhaps as a console table mirror.

70” or 178cm high
49” or 125cm wide
2” or 5cm Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
