Lovely quality and great proportion c19th English birds eye maple mirror with a gilt moulded slip.
The frame of the mirror is a slightly inverted "cushion" style, which gives it much more depth and is more interesting than a plain or flat frame style.
The mirror can be hung either "portrait" as shown or "landscape" to suit your position. It would work as an overmantle mirror, a console table mirror, dressing table mirror, or just to free hang on its own!
Measuring:
31 3/4’’ or 81cm high
26’’ or 66cm wide Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
