A very unusual 18th century Continental ( probably Dutch ) walnut dressing table mirror with the interior working as a small writing table or miniature bureau with its original interior and fabulous old mercury mirror plate.
Wonderful warm walnut colour and it has cleaned and polished beautifully too. Herringbone inlays and end grain surrounding the mirror frame.
Great piece of decorative antique furniture and certainly very unusual.
Measuring:
33 inches or 84 cm high
18 inches or 46 cm wide
10 1/2 inches or 27 cm deep
20 3/4 inches or 53 cm actual mirror height Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
