What an artist's understanding of everything beautiful in the rural landscape... in this work he challenged the conventions of the traditions of the academic landscape and depicted non-idealized landscape with the everyday life of the peasants. Bears 2 labels on reverse: with date 1799 and monogram KTd with supplier (?) Wm.Wim Hammersmith . Painted by professional artist in oils on solid mahogany panel.
Size app.: 38.5 x 50.5 cm (15.15 x 20 in), framed 51.5 x 62 cm (20.3 x 24.4 in). Very Good condition, with age wear such scratches and tiny losses. Please study good resolution images for overall cosmetic condition. In person actual painting may appear darker or brighter than in our pictures, strictly depending on sufficient light in your environment. Weight of app. 2.4 kg kg is going to measure some 4 kg volume weight packed for shipment.

We sell items to Buyers using most convenient and common terms of sale. Items are being shipped upon full payment reception. Packing and shipment of items is carried out within 1-5 days from the date of receipt of payment (the timing depends on the size and complexity of manufacturing individual packaging for safe transit). We ask for your understanding and patience in this matter.
