A most unusual and highly collectable Black Forest novelty inkwell beautifully carved in the form of a French Bulldog sporting his original glass eyes.

The hinged lid opens to reveal a ceramic ink chamber.

Late Victorian to Edwardian dating to around 1900, it remains in excellent condition.

3 3/4" x 2 3/4" x 6" tall.
