An exquisite French Tortoiseshell,Silver and Gold Pique Work Purse opening to reveal the original blue Silk lining.the centre having catch to reveal centre section.It is in excellent condition with no 'lifting',Silk lining still intact,and the Tortoiseshell bright as when new.The Silver Cartouche is still blank for engraving.It measure 7cms x 5cms and is c.1870-90

This Purse is in superb condition throughout with no 'lifting', the Silk interior still in excellent condition and the Tortoiseshell still bright as new. The rectangular Cartouche still remains unengraved. It measures 7cms x 5cms and dates from c.1870-80 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
