Atmospheric model of the Goddess Aphrodite
A large Italian plaster sculpture of the Roman Goddess Aphrodite c1890, standing on an associated circular marble base.
Aphrodite is the ancient Greek goddess of sexual love and beauty, identified with Venus by the Romans. She was known primarily as a goddess of love and fertility and occasionally presided over marriage.
This is an astounding interiors piece, not only beautiful but would make a lovely talking piece when in situ. A classic piece when used in interior design.
