Arts and Crafts Oak Child's Folding Chair
We have for sale a charming late Victorian or Edwardian Arts and Crafts country oak folding child's chair dating to somewhere around 1900.
This rather attractive and decorative dark oak child's folding chair consisting of a back with a shaped upper rail, two further square cut cross rails joined by four perpendicular dowel rods all coupled to lateral sqaure cut supports which extend down to form the front legs. The solid oak seat is in turn supported by a fourth dowel rod rail in the back and also by an extension of both back square cut legs. The back and seat are decorated with a total of 11 brass studs.
The Chair is 26.25 inches (66.7cm) high, 10 inches (25.4cm) wide, 9.75 inches (24.8cm) deep and is in a very ood antique condition other than a couple of abrasions to the upper components of the back legs associated with the chair being folded.
