A really nice example of the classic William Birch of High Wycombe (who made for Liberty's of London) Arts and Crafts rush seated oak armchair. A nicer variation with the curved arms than some of the others. It what appears to be original condition and of superb colour/patination. Very old minor repair to one arm where it meets back. Original rush few strands missing/broken but overall seat is sound and useable. Small section of bottom of one of the front pad feet missing (see images).
