Arts & Crafts Stick Back Armchair c1910
An Arts & Crafts stick back armchair c1910 made of solid walnut, having a high back with shaped top rail, padded central backrest with spindles, shaped armrests and supports, round padded seat and stands on turned legs. The backrest and seat has been newly and fully upholstered to include new padding, and covered in a William Morris fabric.
I think the chair was originally stained green which can be seen in places.
In good condition, no damage, repairs or loose joints.

Seat Height 43cm Our stock items are carefully selected by myself and I only buy good quality items which may need small repairs, a clean and a polish. I don't buy any items that need major restoration, but any loose joints are re-glued. Occasionally, some items may have small amounts of historic extinct woodworm, never enough to affect the integrity of the item, and is always treated as a matter of course. We try to describe and show our items the best we can, and we use studio lighting which sometimes lightens the colour slightly on some of the furniture. All lamps are rewired and PAT tested. Every item we sell we would have in our home (some of them have been!!) It is impossible to describe every item fully, so please feel free to email or call for more information or any queries you may have. The items will have no major defects but will show signs of normal age related wear and use. I would prefer the items to show its life rather than strip it and re-polish it, as it's only original once!
