Arts & Crafts Brass & Wood Mirror with Sconces


We are offering for sale this unusual Arts & Crafts/Art Nouveau Brass and Ebonised Wooden framed Mirror, which has the added attraction of a pair of removable candle sconces below the mirror plate.
The 2" outer wooden frame is ebonised and reeded and is in excellent condition. The brass section has a design of sinuous leaves and flowers, possibly roses, and has a beaded edge. The twin branch candle sconces can be removed from their housing below the mirror plate for cleaning. Their drip pans have frilled edges.
The mirror plate is the original and is bevelled glass. Even the brass dome topped screws holding the brass plate and the sconce holder are original, as is the backing material.
