ANTIQUE ARTS & CRAFTS BOBBIN TURNED CORNER CHAIR c1870-90.
This is an antique Arts & Crafts corner chair from the third quarter of the Victorian period. William Morris & Co helped bring back the design of the vernacular design or otherwise known as regional variations. Along with the principles the Arts & crafts movment brough back of the of the artist craftman this chair is inspired by what William Morris & Co called the Sussex Suite. It is a lovely chair with original finish and a nice lustre with William Morris "Vine" upholstery.
