This is a good quality Art Deco era Four Piece Silver Plated Tea Set. The set comprises a teapot, a hot water jug, a cream jug and a sugar bowl, all of a good size. Each piece has feathered top and bottom rims and stands on four bun feet. The teapot and hot water jug have black bakelite handles so that they are comfortable to hold when filled with hot liquid.

There is no specific makers' mark on the set, simply the Made In Sheffield, England mark and E.P.N.S for silver plate. The set dates to around the 1920s / 30s.

Condition is very good with just a few superficial surface scratches and a very small amount of plate loss on the high edges of the teapot lid. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The teapot is 27.7cm / 10.9ins from spout to handle, 11.5cm / 4.5ins across and 14.5cm / 5.7ins high. The hot water jug is 22.5cm / 88ins from lip to handle, 9.6cm / 3.8ins across and 20cm / 7.9ins high. The cream jug is 16.1cm / 6.3ins from lip to handle, 7.8cm / 3.1ins across and 8.4cm / 3.3ins high. The sugar bowl is 17.6cm / 6.9ins from handle to handle, 9cm / 3.5ins across and 9.4cm / 3.7ins high. The set of four items weighs in at 1.68kg / 59.2oz.
