Stylish Art Deco sculpture of two greyhounds c.1930. Beautifully modelled as two very well observed hounds chasing an unseen prey. Fabulous sense of movement and musculature, with one leaping over the other in an effort to claim the prize. Cast in spelter with an attractive painted finish. Signed Francisque on the back edge. Presented on an oval plinth (23" x 10") faced in highly figured brown marble. Excellent condition.
