Here is a superb quality antique Art Deco leather & oak revolving office armchair (circa 1920). The design is quite unique with a raised back, swept arms and solid oak frame, which is in the typical style of the early Art Deco period. The armchair has been newly upholstered in a stunning quality green distressed leather. The leather upholstery is finished with brass studwork around the perimeter. The seat, which is stuffed and is sprung, is very comfortable. The seat is connected to the base by four sturdy shaped Art Deco legs, which terminate on the original brass castors. The chair revolves 360 degrees and reclines on a sprung mechanism. The chair is designed to be at a fixed height. The chair is extremely comfortable and is very sturdy.
