We have for sale a very stylish and decorative art deco polished marble desk set.

This very functional and striking polished white and brown veined black marble desk set consists of a heavy blotter and a heavy rectangular ink stand. The ink stand has a central lidded raised rectangular compartment. Opening the lid of the compartment reveals a lovely chromed hinge and two sub compartments, each containing a black lidded white ceramic ink bottle. The desk set dates to somewhere around the late 1920s to the early 1930s.

The inks stand is 11.75 inches wide (30cm, 6 inches (15cm) deep and 3 inches (7.5cm) high. The ink blotter is 6 inches (15cm) wide, 2.75 inches (7cm) deep and 3.25 inches (8.25cm) high. The ink stand and blotter are both in a very good condition.
