For your consideration is this wonderfully stylish Gents wrist watch dating to 1939, so 83 years old. 10k rolled gold top and back with ornate filigree either side of the dial. Just serviced with new mainspring, crystal, winding crown and 16mm leather strap. Movement is 21 Jewels USA made Bulova 10AN running strongly and keeping time. Stamped with both the triangle date code symbol for 1939 and the square symbol for 1939 (often see this on vintage Bulova parts which might have been in production at the end of a year and start of another). The serial number on the back of the case starting with 6 signifies a 1939 date.
This watch is perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections. A lovely watch any gentleman would love to wear. Shows no wear-through to the gold. Recently serviced this month, this watch keeps good time and has also been ultrasonically cleaned so it's as hygienic as possible. The back is free from engravings and the whole watch itself is in lovely condition given it's age and ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
Strap: 16mm wide, tapering slightly to 14mm at the buckle.
Wrist fitting: 16mm wide strap, should fit a wrist size of 160mm to 190mm.
Size 25mm x 41mm.
