For your consideration are these very attractive matching Art Deco bookends which date to the 1930s. Originating from France the figures are made from plaster and sit on solid tri coloured marble backs/ plinths. The bookends are quite tall and relatively heavy so would lend themselves well to heavier/ taller books. Very unusual looking and in good vintage condition, only to note there is the odd chip to the marble bases ( black marble ) which don't look unsightly but there and mentioned for accuracy.
