Walnut Armchair - English Victorian - c1870

A pleasing English Victorian upholstered walnut armchair with gorgeous shape presented in excellent condition.

With a quality show frame, chenille textile and useful 40cm (15.7") seat height this excellent armchair is a lovely example.

Offering a soft textile in superb condition throughout, with matching brocade, and a strong frame the armchair is ready for the home. The padded back and pierced, carved header rail are classic English Victorian.

Riding upon original castors, cabriole legs, and with serpentine front rail, the chair offers much in the way of style & comfort. With supportive seating and padded comfortable arms it makes the perfect place to relax, read and enjoy.

The chair would work beautifully in any location, residential or commercial, and would make a fine feature piece or is suitable for daily use.
